I measured myself 3 times for this dress and my husband even helped me to double check. The dress design itself is beautiful but the torso and chest area still came way too large and there were big gaps. I took it to a Chinese wedding dress tailor and she asked me where I got it because "its poorly made and you could have just gone to Chinatown". The tailor had to detach the applique, fold over the extra fabric (the cheaper tailoring option) and try to reattach the applique so it looked seamless from both sides. I had to go in twice, it took over a month because they were so busy and it wasn't a straight forward alteration. I can't believe how much time and extra money I spent on getting it to fit right which was very disappointing.

I was very nervous about ordering a custom-made dress from overseas but EMD delivered the dress on time and in perfect condition. They were very easy to communicate with and answered all my queries and concerns in a timely manner. The dress looks amazing and I can't wait to wear it for the wedding. I did lose some weight from the initial measurements so had to take in the waist slightly but it was an easy fix, there were no other issues. Thanks again EMD!

Totally in love with this dress! It's so stylish, beautiful, and excellent quality. I bought this to change into during my upcoming wedding and can't wait to show it off to my guests. Some alterations aside from hemming were needed as a train was accidentally included, however it was very easy to work with East Meets Dress to get a full refund for the cost. Would definitely buy from them again.

I needed a dress to be made within 2 months of my wedding and the ladies at East Meets Dress were able to accommodate my date!
