Need to see a cheongsam dress in person before you make a purchase? With our sample cheongsam kit, you'll be able to feel our dresses, touch the fabrics, and see the details up close before your wedding day.

How it works:

• Two (2) sample cheongsam or ao dai from our collection that you select above
• Includes an accessory box if available to try on with your outfits (to be returned)
• Free shipping both ways (only valid for U.S. based customers)
• $50 credit back towards any dress purchase in our collection upon returning the dresses within 1 week of receiving them. A return shipping label is included in your kit.

Please note:

• Due to the fact that all of our dresses are made-to-order, our sample dresses only come in limited sizes (typically, the size that the model on our product page is wearing).
• There is an additional $25 charge for the Mindy Bespoke Dress and the Xia Bespoke Dress. You will receive a $75 credit back towards any dress purchase.

Timeline:

Our bespoke dresses take up to 4 months to make and deliver so we recommend placing an order at least 5 months in advance. If your event date is sooner than that, please get in touch with us for expedited production options before placing an order for a sample dress kit.

Wedding dress

I am looking for my Wedding dress and requested 3 dresses (2 Sample dresses and an additional add on after I spoke with customer service). It was so helpful to see, feel, and try on the dresses. They are heavier than I expected and very good quality. Customer service was very helpful and friendly too.

Sample kit is a must!

I knew I wanted a qipao for my wedding reception but don’t like ordering things blindly online without trying them on. The sample kit was great to try on, particularly for me to see the length I prefer for the dress and also the details like the buttons and trim. If you know you want a traditional Chinese dress, then I definitely recommend doing the sample kit.

I requested two sample dresses to try on. It was packaged very neatly and they provided accessories to check out. Good way to try on the dresses and get a feel for the fabric and color before ordering a custom size!
