I ordered my dress for my upcoming wedding and hoenstly was not disappointed. The entire time, I had a very communicative and attentive liaison talking with me about my wants and the changes made for the dress I dreamed of. I reached out very early with inquiries and they continued to follow-up to make sure that I was satisfied with their answer. Even after sometime passed, they reached back out closer to the time I should order my dress to see if I was still happy with their answers and wanted to move forward with them. Then during the process of creating the dress, they were so kind and made the process quite easy. The dress arrived and it was perfect. I want to thank everyone who took their time to help me make the dress of my dreams. I look forward to wearing this at my wedding in a couple of months.

I picked this dress for my now husband and my Chinese banquet. I knew even with providing measurements that I would need to get it tailored personally. I remember reading it somewhere in the description.
Before finding eastmeetsdress I was adamant about not wearing a cheongsam to our Chinese banquet. But as I browsed through American stores/websites nothing non-white-bridal felt special (we had our American wedding the week before). I found eastmeetsdress via google.
This dress was beautiful. It has the perfect mix of traditional, modern, elegant, sexy but still modest (I love the slit), simple. Without having to go to Asia and with the tailoring it was wow! I loved my dress!

I fell in love with this dress when I first saw this online! Not only that, my name is Eliza so it felt like it was meant to be! I received many compliments on my dress on the day of my wedding! Not only that, EMD also helped me with a custom cape design to match the dress. Everything turned out amazing! The price point for my whole ensemble is great as well.

I wore these hairpins for my wedding and reception; they are beautiful! The chains do get tangled easily, but look beautiful in photos nonetheless. FYI, the hairpins I received were not the design in the first photo (the chains with fans on them), but were like the ones in the other photos (the chains with butterflies on the ends); they were still beautiful and were actually a better fit for my Tammy dress.

When I first saw this wedding dress, I knew it was the one. The detail on this dress is so beautiful and purple is my favorite color. I did find getting the measurements to be a little confusing, so I would definitely confer with a professional tailor just in case. FYI, there are rhinestones on the embroidered flowers. I also ordered a custom cape with similar designs to this dress. I love this dress so much!

I initially ordered a custom dress and then added on a cape as an alternative to a traditional train. The East Meets Dress team was so helpful and collaborative. They helped me add my cape to my original order & customize it so it meshed well with the dress. Additionally, the measurement instructions and transparency of the process were really great. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

Absolutely love this dress. I ordered it without the 3D embroidered flowers and did the measurements myself. The dress fit right out of the box though I would still recommend getting measured by a professional tailor.

I followed their recommended size and dress was way too small. Since my wedding was close I requested they ship the next size immediately, instead of waiting for the return to get checked in and then ship. I even offered they charge my card temporary until the return can get there but the requirement is that they must ship the next size immediately in expedited shipping so it can get here. They just ghosted me!!!!

Everything was delivered on time. Quality of product was outstanding, we will definitely recommend to our friends and family for future weddings!

This dress is beautifully designed, from the lines to the fabric. I think this dress is the perfect blend of traditional and modern, and I can't wait to wear it for my tea ceremony. The EMD team has also been amazing to work with in answering questions and making sure things are right!

Additional Customizations

I ordered chopsticks from a different company for my wedding ceremony and was disappointed when I didn’t see the double happiness symbol on the chopsticks. So I decided to give East Meets Dress a try when ordering for our wedding reception and I’m so glad I received the chopsticks as described and with the double happiness symbol. That was really important to me since I’m Cambodian and Chinese and my husband is Korean and I wanted our guests to really experience all of our cultures through the different items they received in their wedding favor bags. Thank you all so much for your hard work and sending it to me on time.

I love how this dress came out! Custom ordered it with red fabric, jade beads, a train, and a sheer back and it looked beautiful! Communication was great during the entire process. I had so many compliments on the dress from our guests and it fit our multicultural wedding perfectly.

I initially purchased this dress for the Welcome Party. I received the dress in a reasonable timeframe/when I expected. The quality of this dress is amazing. The material felt very nice. When I put it on, it fit wonderfully; there were no issues. I almost decided to wear this dress instead of the wedding dress I originally got because I liked the style and how comfortable the dress was. I could have seen myself wearing this dress for the entire night. This dress even impressed my mother, who often disagrees with my preferred styles.
