Back in January, I was looking for apparel that was unique and spoke to my heritage for an important gala-type event. This jacket was perfect as soon as I saw it. Unfortunately, I missed the window for ordering, but in a serendipitous turn of events, they were able to get it to me (across the country) with a couple days to spare. It was completely above and beyond. They worked with me to figure out my sizing, and I'm incredibly grateful. For those wondering about sizing, I'm an athletic build at 5'9 with a 30-31" waist and around 170 pounds. 2XL was perfect for me. Thank you!

East Meets Dress checked that the Chinese idioms I wanted on the chopsticks were correct, and the chopsticks were well packaged, arrived quickly, and look amazing, just as I wanted. There are other places that do custom engraved chopsticks, but East Meets Dress offer 4 different styles, and they're the only place I saw who do the matching 'double happiness' symbol on a pair of chopsticks (one 喜 on each chopstick, so together they make a pair). I was a bit nervous as I was ordering from the UK, but East meets Dress were very obliging and efficient.
Dress never received and no update as to when it will be delivered. Supposed to be delivered on 4/1.

Beautiful dress, can't wait to wear for my wedding cocktail hour. Would also be perfect for engagement photos or tea ceremony. The fabric has a pretty shimmer and the overall quality is good. Initially I tried getting a less expensive dress from etsy and regretted it, I would recommend getting one from EMD. I'm usually a S/XS and followed their sizing chart and got a M which fit pretty well. Alterations will be minimal, there is a little bit of bunching around the lap so fabric underneath may need to be let out slightly. I'm 5'4" and with heels this will be a good full length around ankle/top of foot. I ordered a standard size item (not custom), it took just under 4 weeks to arrive.
The dress is really gorgeous in real life.
I ordered a premade dress in XS.
However, it seems like it is made for a woman with a medium sized body.
I have brought it to the seamstress to make it to my size.
Aside from that, all went really well

I contacted East Meets Dress to help me customize this wedding dress for my wedding in December of 2023.
Color customization: They were so accommodating when I requested this dress in white with blue floral designs. The designers sent me 3 different types of blue florals for me to pick from. And even though the one I originally picked was out of stock, the replacement was close enough. I appreciated that the designers sent me updates throughout the process to make sure that I was absolutely happy with the design and placement of florals.
The fit: I initially thought that going to a tailor to get the measurements was a little over the top, but after I received finished dress in the mail I understood why they were so specific. My tailor only had to make small adjustment to the bust and take in an inch from the waist. Everything else was perfect--neck size, dress length, etc (Note: I wore heels that were the same height as my wedding heels to the measuring appointment)
Quality: Honestly 10/10. There were a couple loose threads, but all the floral designs were sewn on very well. The flowers were a little itchy, but that was to be expected since they weren't silk.

Got this ready-made dress for a backup tea ceremony dress. It fits great! I love the details on the top and the dress is very well made. I got it in the 2XL and I'm usually a 16/18. The customer service was great, I accidentally put my size in incehs down and they reached out to make sure I put in the correct measurements. Can't wait to wear it to my wedding events!

This is my daughter’s reception dress. She came over the day it arrived to try it on. The fit was perfect! You could not ask for a more beautiful dress. We got it about 6-8 weeks before I expected it to arrive. The quality is great and the price was good. Thanks for being so easy to work with.
So quick and efficient with the order! The custom chopsticks came out beautifully
I was so excited when I received this dress but when I took a look at the embroidery, I realized it was all hot glued on. There were hot glue threads everywhere, loose threads and they didn't even glue some of the embroidery on properly. I had expected a fully embroidered dress, not an arts and crafts qipao. So disappointed.
Not me walking 100,000+ steps in China trying to find the perfect dress only to come up empty handed. Then upon returning back stateside, I took a hard look at the East Meets Dress website and found THE dress that fit me, my budget, and included all the customizations/designs I wanted! I didn't need additional alterations at all. The red fabric is ravishing, soft, and sooo comfortable to be the only dress I wore my entire wedding day. The embellishing is a glamorous touch without being too gaudy. The phoenixes with their trailing tails helped give an extra smooth silhouette! The gorgeous dress notwithstanding, the East Meets Dress team was on point with their communication and expedited shipping. I could always count on a speedy response - super helpful when ordering a custom made dress online. I 100% recommend this dress for anyone who wants to turn heads on their big day ;)
