As I was browsing for a traditional Chinese dress for my tea ceremony and rehearsal dinner, I had my eyes on the Lea dress, but knew I wanted custom colors and motifs. East Meets Dress was able to customize it to include tulips to honor my husband's heritage and create the dress using white and blue threads to mimic Dutch and Chinese porcelain. The whole process was easy, and when there was a miscommunication, the dressmakers fixed everything and ensured that the dress was still delivered on time. The result was a beautiful dress that will forever be a family heirloom. I got so many compliments on the cheongsam, and have recommended East Meets Dress to a few friends already!

I ordered the Lea dress with custom embroidery, replacing the cranes on the front with two phoenixes styled like the phoenixes on the Xia dress. EMD was very communicative and helped make sure my dress incorporated all the elements I wanted. When I received the dress and tried it on, it fit perfectly. No alterations were required! The red made a great statement for our garden wedding!

Attentive and patient customer service, beautiful dress made of good quality material, and fit just about perfectly! The arm holes were slightly on the large side but nothing a little tuck couldn't fix. Highly reccomend to anyone looking for a classy qipao!
