I am so glad I went with EMD for my wedding dress. As a half Chinese woman, I wanted to honor my heritage, and this was a beautiful way to do it.

The customer service team is amazing. I had never gotten a bespoke dress before, and they were so helpful in answering my many questions.

My dress came many weeks early and the embroidery was so gorgeous. I highly recommend getting this with the embroidered train!

Just to be candid, I did get this altered, as it was a bit baggy around the back midsection and I wanted it to highlight my backside a bit more. It also needed hemming to make it easier to walk in. Alterations cost almost as much as the dress, which gave me some major sticker shock. However, that might be because I live in a HCOL area and the tailor needed to remove and reattach embroidery to make the alterations. The tailor also told me traditional white wedding dresses usually cost at least $1k in alterations. I am very grateful to EMD for their kind $25 refund voucher for alterations.

I’m so glad I got it altered, because the end result truly elevated the dress and made it shine. I highly recommend also getting it steam pressed before your big day! FYI: it comes with bra cup inserts, so an adhesive bra may not be needed. I used the inserts that came with it and was very happy with it!

Absolutely love this dress. I ordered it without the 3D embroidered flowers and did the measurements myself. The dress fit right out of the box though I would still recommend getting measured by a professional tailor.
Their customer service throughout my entire experience was also incredible. Everyone was so kind and answered questions with clarity and patience. I definitely recommend purchasing from East Meets Dress not only because their products are gorgeous but their customer service is really the best.

The dress was beautiful and it fit me perfectly right out of the box, no additional tailoring needed. I did go to a professional to get the measurements done which I highly recommend.

The EMD team was wonderful and answered my many questions and guided me through the process of picking a dress and customizing the length. I opted for ankle length because I didn't want my dress to touch the floor and the length was perfect.

I contacted East Meets Dress to help me customize this wedding dress for my wedding in December of 2023.

Color customization: They were so accommodating when I requested this dress in white with blue floral designs. The designers sent me 3 different types of blue florals for me to pick from. And even though the one I originally picked was out of stock, the replacement was close enough. I appreciated that the designers sent me updates throughout the process to make sure that I was absolutely happy with the design and placement of florals.

The fit: I initially thought that going to a tailor to get the measurements was a little over the top, but after I received finished dress in the mail I understood why they were so specific. My tailor only had to make small adjustment to the bust and take in an inch from the waist. Everything else was perfect--neck size, dress length, etc (Note: I wore heels that were the same height as my wedding heels to the measuring appointment)

Quality: Honestly 10/10. There were a couple loose threads, but all the floral designs were sewn on very well. The flowers were a little itchy, but that was to be expected since they weren't silk.
