This dress is named after Nadya Okamoto, a social entrepreneur and activist, known as the Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization PERIOD. She is the author of Period Power: A Manifesto for the Menstrual Movement, which reignited a conversation and movement around menstrual equity.

Adorable and high quality

I took the measurements on this dress seriously even though I was shocked to be a size large (I’m usually a size 2!). Regardless, the dress fit perfectly, the fabric is gorgeous and bright, and the dress has surprise pockets! I can’t wait to wear it for our tea ceremony next year. The dress was also shipped quickly.

Truly amazing!

The dress came a lot earlier than expected. I ordered the custom size dress and it fits me perfectly. I was worried that my belly will show in a qipao, but the cutting of the dress really enhanced my curves and made me look amazing. The fabric is smooth and the entire inside of the dress is lined. I can’t believe how well this is made. I feel so confident in it. I can’t wait to wear it on my big day and to celebrate our culture with my family.
