Beautiful dress

Melinda dress is beautiful. Medium size fits me well. The only thing I would change is the packaging. It would be nice to protect it in a flat box instead of an envelope. Still, highly recommend this company for its quality and customer service. I would order again.

Great quality and nice fit overall

Loving this dress. However the armpit/arm area is really tight. Do not recommend for people with large arms. For reference I’m 5ft4, curvy body type and about 150lbs. I got 2XL. I do however have larger arms than most people my size but I still think even for the general public, the armpit area is tight. The dress length lands right at my ankles. The dress is a bit stretchy and forgiving so I’m able to sit down with ease.

Finally a comfy, true-to-advertised, quality Chinese tea ceremony qipao!

I have been through 5 different qipao try-ons between East Meets Dress and Beth Brian Qipao, and this Melinda qipao is FINALLY the perfect one! QUALITY exterior and comfortable smooth interior lining. The detail and texture of the faux gold knots on the front are sooo classic and beautiful!! I didn't get a custom dress, just bought a Medium ready-to-ship dress on Wed and received it the following Monday in Oahu. My measurements are B34 W27 H36, 5'3" 116lb - this qipao actually fits me like a custom would in all the curvy areas and it fits like a maxi length dress which was my ideal tea ceremony length (2.5" sandals in my try-on photos); even the two slits on each side of the leg are classy and tasteful hitting upper-mid thigh, with these pretty rolled slit linings in a thicker and different color. Perfect EXCEPT-- the armholes are honestly sooo small and do pinch my armpit fat quite vengefully :), however, because my arm rolls aren't that noticeable from any angle except from the profile, it's not a gripe at this time. Hopefully I'll remember to submit my professional Chinese tea ceremony photos next April, but until then, here are my try-at-home pics, and some pics of the color in natural morning sunlight!
